Vele Colliery
Vele Colliery in the Tuli Coalfield, 48km west of Musina, Limpopo Province, started production of thermal coal in January 2012. Extensive product testing, to confirm the quality of the coking coal, is now underway. Vele is targeting the production of 2.7Mtpa run-of-mine (ROM) and approximately 1.0Mtpa saleable product.

Mooiplaats Colliery
The Mooiplaats coal project, in which Coal of Africa Limited (CoAL) has a 100% interest, is located in the Ermelo Coalfield, 1.7km from the recently recommissioned Camden Power Station.

Zonnebloem/Vuna Mine
The joint venture at Zonnebloem has been a great success with the new mine opening in record time and monthly run-of-mine (ROM) production approximately 300,000 tonnes.
